Crimson Resistance is a powerful triptych that explores collective defiance against ideological oppression. Composed of three vertical wooden panels, the piece is layered with vivid crimson acrylic gradients and geometric laser incisions that suggest fractures in imposed systems.
Nineteen structural bars support a total of 133 suspended carbon fiber rods (each 47" long), rising perpendicularly from the surface in precise formation. These elements introduce rhythmic tension and cast shifting shadows that respond to light and viewpoint, emphasizing both the fragility and persistence of resistance.
As part of the Chromatic Rhythms series, the work merges optical illusion, structural harmony, and political urgency. It is not merely to be observed, but to be experienced—inviting confrontation with power and the endurance of truth beneath distortion.
